Show your Modesty Humbleness Lack of Arrogance Absence of Pride Appreciation for What You Have

Some people are lucky.  They have been fortunate and have prospered.

Nurse shark and diver.

They have nice clothes.  They have big house and fancy cars.  You might say they have it all.  Other people have not prospered as much.  Some wear hand-me-down clothes.  Some struggle just to keep food on the table. Some beg for change on the street corners. Is one person worth more than the other?  Don’t think about financial worth; consider the person.  All people are equal and all are valuable. Humility is the value of seeing yourself as good but not better than others. A humble person praises their teammates for a job well done and doesn’t worry about calling for complements on their own contribution. A Humble person is modest when accepting praise yet never stops trying to do even better.  Humble people don’t devalue themselves or build themselves up because both acts show pride.  Rather, a humble person values all people and sees themselves as always striving to be deserving of the wonderful life they have in front of them.
